Kabir Punde is an game technologist and Unreal Engine developer with over 8 years of experience in the field. Born and brought up in New Delhi and Gurgaon, Kabir comes from a family of prominent architects and landscape architects. He studied architecture and landscape architecture at RISD and Philadelphia University before practicing landscape architecture for a few years. He was always interested in using technology to aid the design process and started his own Virtual Reality, Arch Viz and Unreal studio in 2017 called Studio Griot. Started as an arch viz studio, Kabir leveraged his experience and knowledge of real time technologies to diversify the portfolio of projects to involve other interactive experiences for design festivals, heritage events and games.

At Studio Griot, Kabir focuses on building in-house IP's as well as acts as an external consultant on VR and game development projects, virtual production for music videos, live events and sports broadcast. INVRSE Cricket is the first original IP to come out of Studio Griot. During IPL 2023 INVRSE Cricket partnered with Star Sports to bring virtual reality cricket into broadcast.

Notable consultancy projects include VR deployment for analysis for Star Sports in IPL 2021, live broadcast overlays using Unreal Engine and real time data for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2021, HoloLens2 analysis during pre match shows for Star Sports during the IPL 2022 and Sushi Ben VR.

Kabir is constantly looking to push the boundaries of game technologies and finding the perfect intersection of game tech and real world utility. He has carved himself a niche in the sport games and broadcast space and is currently in the process of starting a new venture that looks to disrupt the way people consume and interact with their favourite sports.
